Next post from Florida!

I've got 4 and a half hours until I pick up the kids so that they can change clothes and we can hit the road. I've still got a long to-do list, but a lot of it is just little stuff (like setting the DVR to stop recording "Daily Show" and "Colbert Report."

One complication is that our heat is broken, which I discovered last night at 10 o'clock and 70 degrees. I'm going to call Knox Hills at 8 when they open and see if they can get somebody here this morning. I just worry about coming home in mid-October to an unheated house. Brrrrrr!

OK, time to start crossing stuff off the final list!
