Hatfields vs. McCoys, Fort Knox style

Once upon a time a Canadian soldier and his family lived across the street from a United States Marine and his family. The Marine family decorated the Canadian family's yard with pink flamingos. The Canadians sought their revenge by "gnoming" their neighbors, literally mining their yard with garden gnomes. Over time the flamingos begat more flamingos and the gnomes more gnomes until each house was quite a sight.

Who's to say who escalated the fight, but the feud took a nationalistic bent. And now the Canadians' house looks like this:

Can't we all just get along? Happy belated Canada Day, and a happy early Fourth of July!
