I need to order Mike's senior pictures, and every time I look at the proofs, I just can't decide. I think there are just 2 basic images (1 and 2 are one shot and 3, 4, and 5 are another), but then I also have to choose color, sepia, or black and white. Help?
The final photos will have his head injury edited out. The night before senior pics, he looked through the scope of an unloaded air rifle and pulled the trigger and whacked himself in the head with the scope:

Nice pics! I like 3, 4, and 5 the best. I'm a fan of color, too. "Back in my day, when we had to march through the snowy fields to the photographer's studio, sepia wasn't even an option." Which is ironic, because in the age of our elders who walked farther and through more snow, sepia was all they had. So maybe black and white?
I like 3 the best - in sepia. I really don't like 2. It shows so much of his upper body that his head looks small, and the blue background is too strong.
Oops - that last comment was from Teresa, not Elliott. Elliott has his google turned on.
When they are all good, it makes the decisiion tough, doesn't it?After debating awhile between #1 and #5, I've decided tht I prefer #1.
Good luck!

His head is chopped off in 1,3, and 4. Would that be corrected in the final photo? Are you sure that 5 is the same as 3 and 4? It looks a little different. They are all very good. What a handsome dude! This is not my final answer as I have to think on it but I tend to like the sepia.
I vote for #5 for the following reasons:
a. his face is centered
b. it shows him better
c. I like his attitude in it...a slight tilt which is sort of has a impish/joker/outgoing flair
d. he is graduating in 2010 not 1810...I'm not a fan of the brown.
number 5
3 or 5. The black and white still looks modern today, but the sepia just makes the picture look old.
My top choice is 3.
#5
I'm jumping in late here with my vote. I like #2 and #5. They look like mirror images of each other. I also like b/w the best and color a close second. All are great though. Very handsome!
Kathleen P.S. Did you have to lkeave behind this cold weather in Florida??
Kathleen, believe me, I kept PLENTY of cold weather up here in KY. ;-)
I like image 2, but it's a hard choice, I know. They are both good.
