The power wound up being out for not quite 12 hours. All in all, it wasn't so bad--got down to around 60 in the house, which actually felt toasty after taking the dog outside--but I was dreading having to make it through the night. Three cheers for Nolin Electric! Now I just hope it stays on. There are still a lot of ice-covered branches waiting to drop.
