I spent most of this morning at the car repair shop, waiting to find out that they would have to order the part that would make the knob that controls which vent my heat/air comes out of work again. Sigh . . . gotta love car repairs! Last month it was a catalytic converter. The month before that it was a bunch of long-delayed general maintenance. Still, I guess I can't really complain, considering this is my odometer reading from earlier in the week:
300,000 or bust!

That many miles over how many years? I have 290K, but that is on my 1991 honda, but most miles are to/from work in the last 5 years.
It's my 1999 Toyota Sienna. I put most of the first 100,000 miles on it in Hawaii and Europe. I remember watching it roll over to 100K on the drive back up to KY after picking it up at the port in Jax, FL, after coming back from Germany.
Also, keep in mind we have the durango too, which I put most of the miles on it when I'm not working. It has 103K since November 2000. Yikes, I drive a lot!
Our other car is Fred's Blazer. I don't think it's anywhere near 100K miles, and it's a 1998. Of course, it spent a year in storage when he was in Iraq. Then when he was in Afghanistan, Mike put maybe 30 miles a week on it going to and from school. We need to start thinking about a car for Mike.
