My Grandma Grace is probably this blog's #1 reader, and she is having a birthday today. I thought I would celebrate by posting some pictures from her visit to us in Hawaii back in 2000. That was a terrific visit! Fred was TDY somewhere, and the kids were in school (after 2 years of homeschooling), and Grandma and I just had the best time exploring the island. She turned me on to doing the crossword puzzle in the daily paper, and we tried a variety of restaurants for lunch. We even made strawberry margarita popsicles, 'cause that is just the kind of cool grandmother that she is! What we did NOT do apparently was take a lot of photos, because I have exactly 2 from that week.
