I knew Annabelle had been lobbying for an Australian terrier for quite a while, but I didn't realize just how long it had been until I found this the other day while I was cleaning out my office. It's an essay that she wrote in fourth grade extolling the virtues of the Aussie:

EDITED TO ADD: Annabelle asked me why on earth I was blogging this. I said I thought it was kind of neat that she wrote an essay 2 years ago that came true this year. She replied, "I also wrote an essay about guinea pigs, you know." Nice try, kid.
